Statoil cuts forecasts

Statoil said today that it is slashing its oil and gas production targets for 2006 and 2007 by about 3%.Output has been hit by technical problems both on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and internationally.Statoil said, however, that it still forecasts a growth in production of 14% from 2006 to 2007.
