…with SURF tenders next month

Bidding for the subsea, umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) package for the Gumusut development offshore Sabah, East Malaysia, is due to be launched at the end of November, E&P Daily can reveal.This contract will attract a strong list of contenders, including Technip which will still be buzzing from winning the topside engineering workloads for Gumusut (see story above), as well as having a track record in the region as it landed the SURF package for Murphy's Kikeh project.
