Nexen seeks Buzzard cash

Nexen has agreed to issue US 1.04 Bn of 10 and 30-year senior notes in the US to repay a portion of the 1.5 Bn in bridge financing that was put in place when it acquired the UK North Sea Buzzard field from EnCana.
