Baraka farms out Mali blocks

Baraka Petroleum has signed a farm out agreement with Italy's Eni and Algeria's state-owned Sonatrach International Petroleum E&P (Sipex) for its five blocks in Mali, West Africa.Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4 and 9 in the Taoudeni Basin will be farmed out. Under the deal, Eni will earn a 50% interest and become operator of all five blocks, with Sipex getting a 25% stake in all the concessions as well.
