Greenland surveys begin

TGS-Nopec has kicked off its 2007 seismic acquisition programme offshore Greenland.The first project, which started in early July, is the 62,000km Baffin Bay aeromagnetic survey, covering all of the Greenland side of Baffin Bay.The data will be processed by TGS in Asker, Norway, and will be available for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2007. Overlapping the aeromag-netic survey with a regular 60x60km grid will be the Baffin Bay 2D seismic programme.
