Ranhill lands Sumatra block

Ranhill Energy has been awarded the Batu Gajah block in South Sumatra, Indonesia.Seven prospects with potential reserves of up to 195m boe have been identified during a study carried out by Ranhill and Indonesian upstream watchdog BP Migas. Batu Gajah also contains existing oil and gas pipeline infrastructure, making small and marginal finds more commercial.
