Production boost on Norne

Statoil has been given the green light to use a new two-well subsea template on the Norne field offshore Norway.Initially, the new template will accommodate two production wells, which will increase recovery from the field.The field is being developed with a floating installation (FPSO), three production templates, one water injection template and a combined gas/water injection template, each with four well slots.
