SBM soars

SBM's net profit for the first half of 2006 jumped 33% to US 97.8m compared to the previous year.New orders amount to 2.318 Bn for the first six months of 2006 bringing the backlog to a record level of 5.635 Bn. The company said market conditions are so good that it has updated its 2006 year-end forecast from 185m to around 200m.
