Bonga Southwest rises

The development of the US 4.4 Bn Bonga Southwest/Aparo field offshore Nigeria is now forging ahead. A first oil date of 2010 has been set and the unitisation of the field is well advanced. The field straddles blocks held by Chevron andShell, with the field being known as Aparo inChevron’s OPL 249 and Bonga Southwest inShell’s OML 118.
