Talisman Energy is fast-tracking a small oil discovery it has made in the Norwegian North Sea as a tieback to the Varg field.The find contains up to 1.57m bbl of oil and was made in well 15/12-20 S.The primary target of the well was to prove petroleum in Upper Triassic reservoir rocks,while the secondary exploration target was Upper to Middle Jurassic reservoir rocks.
