Aker Drilling has sealed a deal with sister company, Aker Exploration, for drilling operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.The day rate for the three-year contract period is US 520,000, with a possible total contract value of 610m.The contract includes a total of 41m in reservation payments, mobilisation costs, and customer-specific modifications. Aker Exploration has an option to extend the agreement for an additional two years.
