Petrobras has struck light oil in ultra-deepwater in the Santos Basin, describing the find as "highly significant".The Brazilian major, which is the operator in a consortium that also includes operators BG of the UK and Petrogal of Portugal, made the find with well 1-BRSA-369A-RJS (1-RJS-628A) in what it said was a new exploration frontier in the Santos Basin.
