Saudi Aramco and SABIC have launched a bidding processes for the engineering work for their joint $20 billion plus crude oil–to–chemi- cals project in Saudi Arabia, according to Reuters, citing industry sources. Aramco and SABIC, which were developing their own sepa- rate crude oil–to–chemicals technologies, combined their research eforts into the technology in June last year.
