Australia’s Empire Oil & Gas has farmed out interests in several blocks in Western Australia to Wharf Resources and Emerald Gas. Emerald will contribute 25% of the costs ofdrilling the Stokes Bay-1 well in the Canning Basin to earn a 18.75% stake in EP-104 and retention lease R1. Emerald will also have the option to earn an 18.75% interest in L98-1 by contributing 25% to the costs of a work-over to restart production from the West Kora-1 oil well.
