Histoire of veterinary medicine in Roman times and in late antiquity I. sources

The knowledge of veterinary medicine in Roman times and late antiquity is quite easy for historians of veterinary medicine because of the great number of sources in Latin and in Greek. These sources are divided in two main categories: treatises on agriculture where the place of veterinary medicine is quite thin and treatises on veterinary medicine. The goal of this article is to create a list of the different usable sources and to give for each one some information on the author, a usable edition, a translation in French and the place of veterinary medicine in the whole treatise.
