Vessel strikes Ekofisk platform

Part of the Ekofisk field remains shut in after well stimulation vessel Big Orange ran into one of the field's platforms after losing power. No-one was hurt when the Big Orange drifted into water injection platform 2/4-W at the Ekofisk Field Center. The water injection at 2/4-W has been shut down, as well as oil production from platform 2/4-A.
