The processing of new 3D seismic data acquired in August and September 2008 on the Jebel Aswad structure in Block 15 onshore Oman has been completed."The processed data is of exceptionally good quality. The new seismic maps now being generated are the first 3D maps of the Jebel Aswad structure and will offer very valuable information for the future development of Jebel Aswad field," said operator Tethys.
