Exploration in the African frontier state of Uganda is continuing to step up, with Heritage Oil now set to spud its own well.The firm has started to mobilise the drilling rig to the Kingfisher-1 wellsite in Block 3A.The Kingfisher-1 well is expected to spud during the next two months and will be the first of a possible two-well initial programme in Block 3A.The Kingfisher prospect extends into Lake Albert but can be drilled vertically from the shore.
