Chevron has won the rights to the WO5-13 deep-water block with gas potential offshore Australia.Chevron Australia will be the operator with a 50% stake, while Shell Development Australia will hold the remaining 50%.WO5-13 lies 160km northwest of the Western Australian coast in the Exmouth Plateau region; a deepwater frontier of the Carnarvon Basin.
