Fred Olsen reported improved results for the first quarter thanks to higher utilisation and day rates. Operating revenue hit US 150m compared to 145m in the previous quarter, although this was helped by a 2.4m compensation deal from Norsk Hydro for extra work by the Bideford Dolphin offshore Norway not included in the original package.
