Fugro has won contracts in China and Brazil worth a total of around US 31m.The company was handed a 14m deal from Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey to provide drilling and sampling services for gas hydrate research. Work for the project, which is being undertaken by China's Ministry of Land and Resources, will be carried out in the second quarter of 2007. Fugro will use its geotechnical investigation vessel MV Bavenit for this contract.
