Madagascar reveals round details

Madagascar will launch its licensing round with 96 blocks in April. The blocks will cover around 2,000sq km each and bids must be submitted by September. “With the rise in the price of oil, all the world’s oil companies are interested in our exploration blocks, so we are going to put them out to tender,” Elise Razaka, the head of the National Mine and Strategic Industries Bureau, told Agence France-Presse.
