Oilexco targets Kildare next

Oilexco said today that it would spud an appraisal well on its North Sea Kildare prospect towards the end of November.The well in Block 15/26b will spud with the Transocean Sedco 712 after completing operations on the Shelly prospect.Drilling at Kildare will be operated by Oilexco (50%) and a single well bore is planned to appraise a 1988 oil discovery which tested 2,650 b/d of oil from Upper Jurassic Ettrick sands.
