Woodside's E&P budget boost

Australia's Woodside Petroleum may spend more than US 3.1 Bn over the next four years on new oil and gas projects.The investments will boost the operator's production to more than 100m boe a year by 2008, up from 56m boe at present, said Woodside Chairman Charles Goode at the company's annual meeting.
