The new 3.3 million pounds visitor centre built by Henry Boot Construction (UK) Limited at Water's Edge Country Park, Barton on Number, has received the highest 'green' rating of any building of its type in the UK. Due to open to the public later this year, the landmark venue has achieved an exceptional 80.6 percent sustainability rating by the Building Research and Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM).
