There are over half a million listed buildings and structures across the UK, a status that not only affects the conservation and preservation process of the listed building itself, but also impacts neighbouring structures. The power of a Listed building has arisen as a result of long-developed legislation backed by a strong philosophy that addresses the place of heritage in our society.
