Libya $7 Bn E&P spend forecast

Libya's National Oil Corp (NOC) expects international operators to spend more than US $7 Bn on exploration activity by 2015. "In our assessment it is expected that international oil companies will invest in the exploration activities between 2005-2015 over $7 Bn. That is a very conservative number," general manager of exploration Fituri El-Haj told a conference in Cape Town.
