Talisman Energy said production from its operations in the UK averaged approximately 74,000 boe/d during the quarter, down 33% from the same period in 2008 and down 21% from Q2. Output was hit by a number of major planned shutdowns which were completed, reducing UK production by approximately 14,000 boe/d during the third quarter. There were also a number of unplanned shutdowns due to operational issues, which have now been resolved, Talisman said.
