Bolivia to boost spending

Bolivia's Energy Minister said the country plans to increase oil and gas investment to US $530m this year, thanks to as joint ventures with Russia and Venezuela. Russia's Gazprom agreed to develop reserves in Bolivia's gas-rich eastern lowlands, said Bolivian Hydrocarbon and Energy Minister Saul Avalos, while Venezuela and Bolivia's state oil firms plan to invest $240m to explore in Bolivia.
