Det norske oljeselskap says it has engaged Arctic Securities to “evaluate different strategic alternatives for the company's further growth,” including consolidation and restructuring. Det norske currently has stakes in 47 licences on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and is operator of 27 of them. The company plans to drill 15 exploration wells during 2009.
