UK Maureen well disappoints

Endeavour International Corp said its Maureen appraisal well drilled in Block 16/29a in the UK Central North Sea has come up dry. The 16/29a-17 well, which was spudded with the Sedco 704 rig on 7 August, has been plugged and abandoned after failing to encounter commercial quantities of hydrocarbons.
