Kencana Petroleum has won a US $11.9m contract from US-based Global Industries to fabricate the pipelaying components for two derrick pipelayers under construction in Singapore. The contract covers the fabrication of stinger and pipelay handling systems at Kencana's yard in Lumut. Deliveries are scheduled in stages from the end of 2009 to the second quarter of 2011.
