Eivind Reiten has stepped down as the chair of newly-merged StatoilHydro in the wake of investigations into Hydro's operations in Libya.Deputy chair,Marit Arnstad,will take over as acting chair with immediate effect.Arnstad will remain deputy chair until the corporate assembly can elect a new director of the board and a new chair of the board.
