600m Qatar platform award

Malaysia's Sime Darby Engineering has scooped a US 600m contract to construct and install two platforms and three bridges at Maersk Oil's Al Shaheen oil field offshore Qatar.The workload includes the engineering, procurement, construction, transportation and installation, and hook-up and commissioning of one processing platform, one utility platform and three bridges. The work will take 33 months.
