Pumps on at UK Wood

Talisman Energy has turned the taps on at the Wood field in the UK North Sea,with expected peak production of 6,000 b/d of oil and 16 MMcf/d(45 Mcm/d)of natural gas.The new facilities will allow the export of an additional 9 MMcf/d(25 Mcm/d)from the Montrose,Arbroath,Arkwright and Brechin(MonArb)fields.The Wood field is located around 209km east of Aberdeen,10km southeast of the Montrose platform in UKCS Block 22/18.
