PetroChina has made another significant gas discovery in the western Xinjiang region of China."The gas field,known as Dabei-3,boasts an estimated reserve of as much as 4.59 Tcf(130 Bcm),and will serve as an important backup supply source for the West-East gas pipelines,"an executive from state-owned PetroChina's Tarim unit told the China Daily.
