Gulfsands shifting in Syria

A new seismic programme is underway onshore Syria, according to operator Gulfsands Petroleum.The AIM-listed independent has begun operations with Geofizika to acquire new 2D seismic in Block 26. Geofizika has been working in Syria for other operators including INA-Naftaplin and most recently PetroCanada on Block 2, which is adjacent to Block 26.
