Exploration returns to Sudan

The partners in a block in Sudan are preparing to step up exploration after the peace agreement.A budget for field operations on Petronas' Block 5B has been approved.The programme includes the drilling of up to three wells in late 2006 and the acquisition of 1,100km of 2D seismic data in the first half of 2006.
