PNG probe looks good to Rift

Rift Oil said that drilling on its Puk Puk-1 exploration well in Papua New Guinea(PNG)has been successful.The operator said the well has now reached the upper reservoir objective at a depth of approximately 5,774ft(1,760m),significantly higher than originally expected.Increased gas levels similar to those experienced in Douglas-1 were observed upon intersecting the Alene sand objective.
