Mexico's state-owned Pemex plans to drill two deepwater exploration wells before the end of the year as it attempts to uncover new reserves to shore up declining production.Carlos Morales, head of Pemex's E&P division, said that the wells will be drilled in the deepwater area called Coatzacoalcos Profundo. Based on seismic, Pemex says there could be 10 Bn boe in Coatzacoalcos Profundo, out of a potential 29.5 Bn boe in all of Mexico's deepwater.
