Petronas tackles Sudanese giant

Petronas will finally start a three-well exploration programme in Sudan later this year.The wells are planned to be drilled in Block 5B in the Muglad Basin targeting net unrisked reserves of more than 500m boe. No wells have yet been drilled on the massive block which covers more than 20,000sq km.
