KOC's 6.4 Bn tenders

State-owned Kuwait Oil Co(KOC)is gearing up to launch around 300 tenders worth a total of around US 6.4 Bn,as well as planning to explore the country's northern oil field potential.KOC managing director Sami al-Rushaid told local newspaper Al-Rai that the company plans hand around 70% of the deals to local private sector players.He said that KOC awarded 457 contracts worth 9.4 Bn to local and foreign companies in the past three years.
