Zaan to add fizz to Amstel

Island Oil & Gas is set to develop the offshore Netherlands Zaan oil field as a tieback to its Amstel development hub after being awarded operatorship of the Q13b licence.The Zaan field and the Q13-5 appraisal prospect are located in the West Netherlands Basin,a prolific oil and gas province in which,to date,more than 1.3 Bn bbl of oil and 3 Tcf of gas in place have been encountered.
