Industry body Subsea UK has warned oil and gas companies against the temptation to put investment in research and development (R&D) on hold as the industry begins to feel the effects of the global credit crunch. Subsea UK fears that oil and gas companies may be re-considering their R&D budgets in light of the recent drop in oil prices.
