Heritage bounces back

Heritage Oil hopes to drill another well in Uganda in the second half of the year after results from its Tu raco well proved disappointing.After a host of frustrating technical problems the company completed the Turaco-3 well last year and two potential hydrocarbon-bearing zones containing approximately 276ft (84m) of net pay were identified. Drill stem tests were run on three separate sand units, which resulted in flow rates of between 8-12 MMcf/d.
