Norway spending to hit new high

Investments in oil and gas exploration offshore Norway will break all records in 2009,with expenditure expected to hit US 5.5 Bn,according to the latest figures released by Statistics Norway.The figure is up more than 20% on the 4.4 Bn which is estimated will be spent on exploration in 2008.
