Zambia plans first round

Zambia will launch its first licensing round in the next few weeks and offer up 25 blocks, said the country's Finance Minister Ng'andu Magande. The first round follows an announcement in October last year that the landlocked southern African country had discovered oil and gas reserves in the northwest of the country that borders oil-rich Angola.
