Baraka Petroleum has sealed a deal with Omega Energy to acquire a 20% stake in the Chicuaco Block in the Llanos Basin of eastern Colombia.Baraka's acquisition cost is US 1.3m for the first 5m in work expenditure.Baraka's total expenditure to the end of the drilling of the Monza-1 exploration well is expected to be 1.8m.The acquisition will be funded from current cash reserves.
