Shell Merganser heads to Scoter

Shell has unveiled plans to develop its North Sea gas condensate Merganser field as a tieback to the nearby Scoter development.The Merganser field is located across UK Blocks 22/25a and 22/30a in the East Central Graben of the central North Sea. It will be developed through the drilling and completion of two new subsea horizontal wells and installation of subsea kit to facilitate production of the wells via a manifold and pipeline tied back to Scoter 3.5km to the southeast.
