Poland,Ukraine,Lithuania,Georgia and Azerbaijan have agreed to form a consortium called Sarmatia to pursue the goal of transporting Caspian oil to Poland and the Baltic Sea.An agreement was signed at a summit in Vilnius by the governments of the five nations and the aim is to revive the Odessa-Brody project,as well as create an alternative oil source to Russia.
